BRAZILIAN PREMIER LEAGUE - SPRING SOCCER 2025

 

Is administered and managed by Brazil Stars Soccer Club. The Spring Brazilian Premier League 2025 allows more players to compete in a competitive soccer environment without the pressure to win at all costs. Spring Brazilian Premier League 2025 enables clubs to try out new players or transfer players. Teams will gain valuable playing time to prepare for any Calsouth tournament or develop for the start of the CSL Fall season. Teams can request 2 a-days to help create a flexible schedule. Spring Brazilian Premier League 2024 allows your team to play several games without the cost of an expensive tournament and time commitment.

RULES AND REGULATIONS

 

2025 SEASON

 

Spring Brazilian Premier League  is a youth competitive league for teams which is administered and managed by Brazil Stars Soccer Club. Spring Brazilian Premier League allows more players to compete in a competitive soccer environment without the pressure to win at all costs. These Rules and Regulations provide the requirements for all Spring Brazilian Premier League  games.

  1. Roster
    1.1 Player Registration. All players on a Spring Brazilian Premier League roster must be registered to Cal South.
    1.2 Game Day Roster. A maximum of 14 players will be eligible for each game in Spring Brazilian Premier League. The home team is responsible for printing out the game day roster and handing it to the center referee prior to kickoff.
    1.3 Roster Freeze Date. There is no roster freeze date. Players can be added anytime throughout the season. 
    1.4 Younger Players Playing Up. A Spring Brazilian Premier League registered Player may play for any Spring Brazilian Premier League team for which the player is age eligible. Every Spring Brazilian Premier League registered Player may only play on one (1) Spring Brazilian Premier League per day. A Spring Brazilian Premier League registered Player may play on different Spring Brazilian Premier League teams from game-to-game during the Spring Brazilian Premier League regular Season.

 

COMPETITION
2.1 General. Unless otherwise provided in these Regulations, all Spring Brazilian Premier League  games shall be played in accordance with the FIFA Laws of the Game in force at the time of competition as provided by the International Football Association Board.
2.2 Scheduling Games. Brazil Stars Soccer Club shall identify the dates and locations of all Spring Brazilian Premier League  games for each Spring Brazilian Premier League  season.
2.3 Number of Games. Brazil Stars Soccer Club shall determine the total number of Spring Brazilian Premier League games during the Spring Brazilian Premier League  Season.
2.4 Canceled Games. If a Spring Brazilian Premier League  game is suspended by weather and at least the first half was played, the game will be considered a full game. If any Spring Brazilian Premier League  game is canceled, Brazil Stars Soccer Club shall attempt to reschedule the Spring Brazilian Premier League  game. If Brazil Stars Soccer Club finds that it is impossible to reschedule such canceled Spring Brazilian Premier League  game, the Spring Brazilian Premier League 2024  game shall be considered a non-played game, and neither team shall be awarded any points.
2.5 Cancelations & Forfeits. Canceled games will result in a 1-0 loss for the team canceling the game. Any game not canceled by the preceding Wednesday night may be considered a forfeit. Teams will be billed for the forfeited game(s). The forfeiting team will be responsible for referee fees for both teams. Any team who is not in good financial or cancels/forfeits more than 2 games during Spring Brazilian Premier League  standing will not be eligible to participate in the next games.
2.6 Schedules. Spring Brazilian Premier League  Clubs will be able to review all schedules prior to the start of the season. No changes to Spring Brazilian Premier League  games may be made within 72 hours of kick-off, except due to bad weather or as permitted by the Brazil Stars Soccer Club Administrator.
2.7 Referee Fees. Each Spring Brazilian Premier League  Team shall be responsible for payment of the referee costs for each Spring Brazilian Premier League  game based on the pay scale set forth in Exhibit B.
2.8 Substitutions. Substitutions may be made, with the consent of the referee, at any stoppage of play. Substitutions shall be made at midfield within ten (10) yards of the halfway line. The substituted player shall not enter the field of play until allowed by the Referee and the player substituted for has left the field of play.
2.9 Send-off. Send-off. A send-off (red card or double yellow) in Spring Brazilian Premier League  will result in a minimum one (1) game suspension.
2.10 Points. Teams shall be awarded three (3) points for a win, one (1) point for a tie, and zero (0) points for a loss. A forfeit shall be considered a 1-0 loss for the forfeiting team and a 1-0 win for the non-forfeiting team.
2.11 Tie-Breakers for Spring Brazilian Premier League . The following tie-breakers will be used for resolving ties between Spring Brazilian Premier League  teams, in the following order: 
1. Most Points
2. Head to Head. If more than Two Teams are tied, this tie-breaker shall not apply
3. Goals For 
4. Goals Against
5. Coin Toss
2.12 Game Length. Spring Brazilian Premier League 2024 games shall be played with the following game lengths: 

  • 2016 - 2015: 2 x 25 minutes (7 vs 7)
  • 2013 - 2014: 2 x 25 minutes (9 vs 9).
  • 2012: 2 x 30 minutes (11 vs 11).

* A ten (10) minute intermission shall be allowed between halves.
 

  1.  Game Day Procedures
    3.1 An official Spring Brazilian Premier League Game Report must be completed for each Spring Brazilian Premier League game. The Spring Brazilian Premier League game report must be provided by the home team.
    3.2 The Players’ COMPLETE information must be recorded on the online player roster before the Match Report is printed. Each player must report to the referees before entering the game for the first time. The names of all players who are not present or are not eligible to play must be listed and then crossed out on the Match Report. Please ensure that for any 2012 - 2016 teams with a roster in excess of fourteen (16), (18) players maximum game day player roster are lined out.
    3.3 It is the responsibility of the Home Team Administrator(s) to provide the Referee with an accurate, legible and completed current official Spring Brazilian Premier League Match Report prior to the start of the game along with their player passes. Following the completion of the match, the Referee and both teams’ Administrators/Coaches will sign the Match Report. 
  2. 3.4 The Team Officials shall present their Players’ and Administrators’ Passes prior to the start of the game. If there is no Administrator/Coach with a valid USYS Coach or a Qualified Administrator Pass, the Referee shall note that on the Match Report and the game shall not be played. The team in violation shall forfeit the game and pay the referee fees for both teams.
    3.5 In the event a player misrepresents himself/herself during a game, either or both coaches may request notation of the irregularity on the Match Report by the Referee, who should then initial the notation.
    3.6 The Referee is required to make the appropriate notations of all instances of ID irregularity on the Match Report. The Referee’s Report shall constitute proof of the violation.
    3.7 The Referee is required to sign the official Match Report to verify that the Player Passes of both teams have been checked.
    3.8 The Referee is required to report on the Official Match Report all instances of misconduct on the part of the Players, Administrators, Parents or Spectators that he/she determines to be adverse to the conduct of the game. Additional information may be included on an extra sheet of paper accompanying the report.
    3.9 All Players’ and Administrators’ Passes should be returned to the team at the end of the match including those of Players, Coaches and Administrators sent off during the match. Only in cases of assault, violent conduct or suspected falsification of documents should the Player/Administrator/Coach Passes be withheld. In such cases, a Supplemental Referee Report detailing the events and violations should be made.

4. Miscellaneous
4.1 Matters Not Provided For. Any matter not provided for in these Regulations shall be referred to the Brazil Stars Soccer Club Rules and Regulations. The Brazil Stars Soccer Club Board of Directors has the authority to determine the outcome for any situation not included in the Spring Brazilian Premier League and Brazil Stars Soccer Club Rules and Regulations.

 

Exhibit A Spring Brazilian Premier League  Age Group Eligibility

The boys/girls age groups for the  Spring Brazilian Premier League Soccer Season are provided below:

  • 2016 Age Group: Players born on or after January 1, 2016.
  • 2015 Age Group: Players born on or after January 1, 2015.
  • 2014 Age Group: Players born on or after January 1, 2014.
  • 2013 Age Group: Players born on or after January 1, 2013.
  • 2012 Age Group: Players born on or after January 1, 2012.

Exhibit B Spring Brazilian Premier League Referee Pay Scale.

The pay scale for Spring Brazilian Premier League Soccer Games for the Spring Brazilian Premier League  Soccer Season is as follows:

  • Bracket Boys: 2016. Teams will play (7 Vs 7), 2x25 min.
  • Bracket Boys: 2015. Teams will play (7 Vs 7), 2x25 min.
  • Bracket Boys: 2014. Teams will play (9 Vs 9), 2x25 min.
  • Bracket Boys: 2013. Teams will play (9 Vs 9), 2x25 min.
  • Bracket Boys: 2012. Teams will play (11 Vs 11), 2x30 min.
