Spring Brazilian Premier League - Overview

 

The primary goal of the Spring Brazilian Premier League is to provide a competitive soccer environment for more players without the pressure to win at all costs. It is an excellent league on the Westside of Los Angeles, ideal for trying out new or transfer players. Teams can gain valuable playing time in preparation for CalSouth tournaments or the upcoming 2024 CSL Fall Season. Additionally, the Spring League offers multiple games without the expense and time commitment of a traditional tournament.

Q: I have a player that did not play Club last year. Can they play in the Spring League?

A: Yes, as long as the player is registered with your team/club.

 

Q: What is the last date to sign up?

A: The deadline for Spring Brazilian Premier League registration is November 30, 2024.

 

Q: How much does it cost to play in the Spring League?

A: Costs vary depending on the team’s age group.

 

Q: When does the Spring League season start?

A: The Spring Brazilian Premier League kicks off on Sunday, March 1st, 2025. Please refer to the calendar for specific play dates.

 

Q: Do teams receive medals and trophies?

A: Yes.

1st Place: A team trophy and individual medals.

2nd Place: Medals for all players.

 

Teams

Q: My team is not registered with CalSouth. Can we still participate?

A: Yes, new teams are welcome to join the Brazilian Premier League.

 

Players

Q: Can loan players be used?

A: Yes, there is no limit on the number of loan players.

 

Q: Can new players join the Spring League?

A: Yes, new players can participate if registered with your team/club. Registration must follow local club policies, and players without a valid player pass are not eligible to participate.

 

Fields

Q: Where will the games be held?

A: Brackets for Boys 2017/2018, 2016, 2015, 2014, and 2013 will be played on Sundays in Culver City.

Brackets for BU 2011 and BU 2012 (11v11) will be scheduled for Saturday afternoons at Veterans Park, Culver City.
